(Case Study)
Felgerlager.info
A Norwegian wheel webshop where buyers find the rims that fit their car quickly, and where the catalogue updates itself every day.
The Brief
Felgerlager.info sells wheels and complete wheel sets to customers in Norway. The catalogue is large — 1,783 models and 5,288 variants — and the buyer always asks the same thing: what fits my car? The website has to answer that fast and carry the buyer from choice to cart.
We built a dark, car-first webshop with a car selector on the home page (make, model, year or registration number) that filters the catalogue, plus separate pages for rims, tyres, wheel sets and accessories. The site works in Norwegian and English, and a sales assistant helps buyers who are unsure.
What we built
- A catalogue of 1,783 models (5,288 variants) with filters by diameter, colour and more.
- A car selector on the home page: make, model, year or registration number.
- A daily automatic update: the supplier catalogue is imported every day, with no manual work.
- Product images on a studio backdrop: supplier photos are cut out and placed on one studio scene, so the catalogue looks consistent.
- A sales assistant for questions and choosing, right on the page.
- A cart and checkout flow (Stripe) and the legal pages built from the client's own texts (terms of sale, privacy, returns).
Under the hood
A fast static site with serverless functions on Vercel. The catalogue refreshes through a scheduled GitHub job.
