What does a website cost in Estonia when you look not at opinions but at the prices studios publish themselves? We took the public prices of 15 Estonian web studios and put them in one table. The median starting price for a company website is €850, but the range runs from €329 to €1,500.
The data was collected on 2 October 2026. Each studio name links to the page where the price is published, and the whole dataset can be downloaded (CSV).
Summary: five observations
- The median starting price for a company website is €850. The range is €329–€1,500, so studio prices can differ several times over.
- The cheapest package starts between €150 and €1,500 (median €450). The gap between the lowest and the highest starting price is roughly 10x.
- Only 3 of 15 studios make VAT clear: 2 add VAT on top and 1 is not VAT-registered (the price is final). The other 12 don't say, which makes quotes harder to compare.
- 9 studios publish a starting price for an online shop, with a median of €1,500.
- 8 of 15 studios publish timelines. They are usually one to six weeks, longer for more complex solutions.
How we collected the data
- We searched Google for typical queries (for example "kodulehe tegemise hind", "veebilehe tegemine Tallinn" and, in Russian, "создание сайтов Таллинн") and picked the studios that publish prices on their own pages.
- We counted only the studio's own published starting prices and ranges. General market overviews, quote-request pages and studios that don't publish prices were left out.
- "Cheapest starting price" is the starting price of the studio's lowest package. "Company site" is a multi-page company website (judged by the package name or page count). "Online shop" is the online-shop starting price the studio publishes.
- Where a studio publishes a range (for example €800–€1,500) we used the lower end. A "~" means the studio calls the price approximate.
- We checked each number in two ways: we read it from the studio's page and confirmed it in the page source.

Timelines are given per package in the same order the studio publishes them (for example one-page / company site / online shop). A dash means the studio doesn't publish it. The table is sorted by the company-site starting price (lowest to highest), not by quality.
Our prices are stated excluding VAT, because we are a VAT payer. When comparing, keep in mind that other studios state their prices on different bases (see below).
Note: we are a web studio and therefore an interested party in this table. We included ourselves for transparency and marked our own row separately.
What the data shows
A starting price is not the final price
A "from" price is the lowest package price, not what most clients pay. Several studios say themselves that a typical company website costs more: KoduleheTugi gives an average company website price of €800–€1,500, Marketing Sharks' company website price starts at €1,500 and ProDesign says a company site more often starts at about €1,500.
A low starting price often means a narrow scope
The cheaper packages are usually one-page sites or use a ready-made template. A multi-page website with a custom design generally costs more because it includes more pages, design work and setup. Before you compare prices, compare scope: how many pages, what kind of design, whether SEO, analytics and revision rounds are included. See also: how to choose a web agency.
VAT changes the comparison
If a studio is VAT-registered, the same price can mean a higher total when VAT is added to the invoice later. If a quote doesn't say whether the price includes VAT, ask before you decide. Quotes are fairest to compare when all prices are on the same basis (with or without VAT).
Timelines are published only part of the time
8 of 15 studios publish timelines. For a simple page they range from a few days to three weeks, for a company website from about two to six weeks.
Who publishes what: a transparency comparison
Price is only one part of a quote. Timelines, VAT status and what is included matter just as much to the buyer. Here is how many studios publish them:
